After a long weekend of officiating a lot of games from U12 to open men, I have my answer. The question I have for you is what do you think?. . . Has American Soccer Improved? I’m not a kickball fan. When I played my teammates and I kicked around on our own, played 2v2 in the pack. Learned to trap longballs after school and juggled in our basements. I can tell in the first 5 minutes whether or not players on the “elite teams” are doing that same work at the start of a game. It tells me as a referee what type of work, I’m going to have to put in.
