Let the game be the teacher.

Hey There,

The following was inspired by several conversations I’ve had over the last few weeks with several coaches who have been coaching futsal in the Pittsburgh region and have seen the impact of the Youth Soccer Regional Travel Super Clubs crush the indoor training game.

Coach Dave

I’m getting tired of officiating bad soccer.

I’m getting tired of seeing players who want instruction on everything.

I’m getting tired of seeing players who haven’t been given permission to just play and experiment.

I’m really tired of players not getting enough chances to play and master the basics of dribbling, 1v1 with skill instead of speed.

I really want to see more players who truly have a connection between the ball and their foot.

I’m really tired of players who can’t pick up their heads to recognize when they have an opportunity for combination play.

When you are weary, you need to think outside the box or maybe put the game in a new box. 📦 🤔 💭 🧐
