You may recall the line on your practice jerseys–One Nation, One Team–this is what our National Team is using for both the men and women. If you are new to world football- American Soccer- this is a World Cup year for the men. In order to play in the World Cup- our national team needs to qualify within our geographic region. If you compare North American to Europe, you will notice we don’t quite have as many countries, so our region also consists of Caribbean and Central America, it’s official title is Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football. There is nothing to warm up a CONCACAF opponent from the Carribean or Central America like a WINTER trip to Columbus, OH or St. Paul, MN for a FIFA World Cup Qualifier. If you’d like to see a game with a real home field atmosphere, winter chill and possibly snow, these two games on January 27, 2022 and February 02, 2022 should bring the best out for the United States. The US Men’s National Team is already training in Columbus this week, to prepare for the weather.
